after a long time (in part because I was getting ready for my exams) I decided to go back to writing. At the same time I put together some reflections, in a simple Word document, as I realized that it has exactly been five months since I’ve come to Germany and, in the end of the experience, I would like to make these experiences public (possibly in a book). It is obviously an ambitious idea, but anyway I’m sure I’ll go on writing.
Today I visited Goettingen, which is at about two hours from Paderborn central station. It certainly offers less than other cities, but I was curious to visit it. During the trip I could also notice the snow on the landscape though, fortunately, it was not too cold, in comparison to the past days.
In the second picture you can see the beginning of the city tour. Of course, I had to crop the picture, as there were people in it.
Then the symbol of the city (and I actually found out more about through the Internet): a girl with a goose. It also seems to be a tradition for people who get a degree to kiss it. By the way, it is not a coincidence that there are lots of students who attend the city university.
Then, two pictures of two churches, though I only visited the first one (St.Michael), because the second was closed.
I also visited a park near the city university.
To conclude with, these green tea sweets I bought in an Asian market.
See you soon,
